Call Courier has not published a delivery-time table we could check. Call Courier now runs as part of PostEx, and PostEx has not published one either. We would rather not show numbers we cannot stand behind, so here is what really decides the speed.
Which Routes Are Faster
Same-City Delivery
Parcels sent within the same city (Lahore to Lahore, Karachi to Karachi) do not need to travel between cities, so they are usually the fastest.
Primary Inter-City Corridors
Routes between big cities with good road links, such as Lahore to Islamabad or Rawalpindi, or Faisalabad to Multan, run most often.
Cross-Country Trunk Routes
Long routes such as Karachi to Lahore or Karachi to Peshawar cover the most distance, so they take longer than shorter trips between big cities.
Smaller cities and rural tehsils
Interior Sindh, tehsils in South Punjab, Balochistan and AJK are reached by smaller local routes. These run less often, so this part of the trip is usually the slowest.
Factors Influencing Transit Speed
The Time of Day You Book Matters
Parcels booked late in the day can miss that day’s dispatch and go out the next day. Each branch sets its own cut-off, so ask the counter staff if it matters to you. For businesses, pickups run Monday to Saturday between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Winter Fog and Road Closures
In winter, thick fog in Punjab and Sindh can lead to motorway sections being closed at night for safety. This makes trips between cities longer while it lasts.
eCommerce Festive Shopping Peaks
At big sale times, such as 11.11, Blessed Friday and before Eid, many more parcels are sent. A parcel booked at these times can take longer than the same route in a normal week.
Delivery Attempts & Re-dispatch
If the rider cannot reach you, the local branch plans another try instead of sending the parcel straight back. We could not confirm how many tries Call Courier makes, so check your tracking again before you worry.
