What Affects the Price
Call Courier is now PostEx. We could not confirm its current prices. For most couriers, the price depends on three things: distance (same city or another city), the weight you pay for (real weight or size weight) and extra services such as cash on delivery.

Cash on Delivery (COD) Charges
We could not confirm whether Call Courier (now PostEx) charges a fee for collecting cash on delivery, or how much. Ask PostEx about the COD charges in your agreement.
Fuel Charge
We could not confirm whether any fuel charge is added. Ask PostEx when you get a quote.
Real Weight vs Size Weight
Big but light parcels, such as pillows or shoe boxes, take up a lot of space. Many couriers charge by whichever is higher: actual physical scale weight or volumetric weight.
Size Weight Formula (Centimetres):
(Length cm × Width cm × Height cm) ÷ a number set by the courier = size weight (kg)
Example: Many couriers divide by 5,000. With that number, a 1.2 kg box measuring 30 cm × 30 cm × 20 cm would count as 3.6 kg by size, so you would pay for the size weight. Ask PostEx which number it uses.
Business Accounts vs One-Off Parcels
People sending the odd parcel pay the normal price. Online shops that send many parcels can ask about a business account, managed on the PostEx merchant dashboard.
One-Off Parcels
Normal prices for one-off parcels. Ask about payment when you book.
Business Accounts
Business accounts can book pickups (Monday to Saturday, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and follow COD payments on the merchant dashboard. Ask PostEx about business rates.
Tips to Keep Costs Down:
- Use a flyer that fits the item, so you do not pay for empty space.
- If you send several orders to the same person, ask whether they can go as one parcel.
- Have parcels ready for pickup on time, so they leave without delay.
